Tony Gachoka and Raila Odinga when they were pals

Former Chief of Protocol in the Prime Minister’s office Tony Gachoka has claimed he has crucial information relevant to the ongoing International Criminal Court trials.
Gachoka, in a letter to the ICC Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda, says that while working at the PM’s office, he came across information similar to the evidence adduced before the Court and which has been relied on by the Office of the Prosecutor.
Gachoka states in paid advert placed elsewhere in this newspaper that he has agonised as to whether he should come forward and reveal what he knows regarding the post-election violence that rocked the country during that period.
“I am afraid for my life and for the lives of my family as the information I hold is extremely prejudicial to some of the most powerful and influential personalities in Kenya today,” says Gachoka.
“With great trepidation but spurred by the desire to deliver justice to the victims and help heal my homeland, I am willing to step forward and disclose all that I know. I have a proven track-record as a whistleblower,” said Gachoka.

Those sincere in the search for justice should be glad and welcome a development in which a fellow citizen comes foward and say he or she has vital information regarding the PEV. The prosecutor is not a fool and can look inot the information like they have done all through the process. Those quick to make conculsion based on suspicions and are now questioing Mr Gachoka only shows how political they are and they will lose. If it's justice, let it be.

Tony must have seen all the attention Miguna got and decided he wanted a piece of the action. Of course the most logical way to produce his "evidence" was to tell it to the media. Miguna reloaded.

Think of others too, if not next time it will be 41 against 1 all the time. WATCH!!.

We need to be told the candid truth of what brought our lovely nation down to knees. Those who own such information should carefully follow the legal mechanisms in place and reveal the wit of information they own.

People can do anything to get a ticket to live in a western country. How does he know his life is in danger even before he has said anything? where has he been all these years? he should actually be prosecuted for withholding information

Gachoka is an opportunist and now he has seen where he can duck his head and continue lavishing on the sweat of the others. Maybe he asked for handouts and was not given. Let him go on - Raila's name has made so many people rich, you can be one of them

If William Samoei Ruto does not have evidence and he was an insider as far as ODM goes, where would Tony get it? 5 years later and 6 months to the elections? sounds like propaganda!!

If Gachoka stumbled on evidence in the PM's office, then it is likely the NSIS know about it too. Myguess is that the ICC knows about it too. What is he laying on the table that is not already known? The PM's side also likely has alot of damning evidence against the PNU on a host of issues, including the ICC. Then what?

It's an open and deliberate eleventh hour attempt to drag Raila's name into PEV.This tells you how people become myopic and uptight when confronted with a reality.but it's too late and and too suspicious to come out now to claim you have something to tell ICC on PEV.ICCprosecutors are not stupid to be dragged into cheap politics

Anyway Gachoka is time barred hence to be treated as an afterthought so we highly don't need his evidence.

This is another "project" targeting the downfall of Raila but it's doomed to fail like others before. Kenyans have decided that RAO is the next prezzy whether you come up with whichever styles of "projects" namely: KKK, G7, Peeling back masks, registering & sponsoring parties for rebel pentagon members, gathering as Gema/kamatusa and other unpalatable name calling.

it is an open and deliberate act to drag Raila's name into PEV.It's just like trying to hung on someone's shirt to stay afloat.too late too suspicious.ICC presecutors are not fools.
