RESPONSE ON AFRICAN LEADERS' FAILED LEADERSHIP IN AFRICA

FROM A UGANDAN READER LIVING IN LOS ANGELES

Hi Jerry;
I recently read your article and i think you hit the nail on the head. I don't know where you are from but i am from Uganda, studied political science at M.U.K and i now reside in LA (California). I have however had my ear to the ground whenever i can by keeping updated about the situation in Uganda, East Africa and Africa as a whole. Needless to say, our motherland is going to hell in a basket.

I however need to add that it's people like you, Mwenda, Obbo, etc; who reassure us that we still have a heartbeat, that we still have hope. Continue to inspire. It's not easy, i know you do it a great risk to life and limb, but if you don't, who will? It's a sacrifice you need to make for the sake of the voiceless.

I added the following in response to your article:

"Great article! The state of our poor continent is grave. Our leaders have completely lost it. It's like we are being led by a group of thoughtless, greedy, arrogant and murderous Presidents, bent on taking as much as they can before their time comes. And believe me, it's coming!

They kill and silence their countrymen with impunity. They stuff millions of dollars away in Switz banks, and they use tax payer funds to further entrench themselves into power.

Oh, what a shame, what a shame!!"

Good luck; may God Bless and protect you;

Kind regards; Steven.
