The disparate elements that aligned their interests to form the Hargeisa regime will not manage to stay in power any longer; with the outright majority of all the North Somalis against them, with foreign involvement increased and diversified, and with the asphyxiating antagonism of Yemen, Eritrea and Abyssinia in the wider area, the diverse elements of the Hargeisa regime will soon fall apart, leaving at least three or four tiny "states" on the North Somali territory.
With France and England antagonizing in the circumference between Garowe and Djibouti, with Yemen trying to introduce illegitimate claims on the Northern Somali territorial waters that are totally defenseless due to the existence of the Riyaale tyranny, and with the rising discontentment of all the components of the Somali North, the fake state Somaliland is predestined to break down and get totally decomposed.
In fact, there is little time left for the North Somalis before aggravated calamities befall on them. In this new series, I focus on the discontentment of the Somali population that has been entrapped in the cursed Somaliland tyranny.
Their opinion matters as testimony and as litmus paper. However, their future does not hinge on their opinion anymore because they are not given the means to legitimately express themselves in legitimate and constitutional manner, and within institutionalized bodies. Everything is illegal in the Hargeisa gansgterland. Foreign interests will preserve this situation until they turn it even worse for the Somali Nation.
The opinions of Amiin Dahir and Mohamed F Yabarag published herewith will truly matter, if the North Somalis decide that enough is enough and, with whatever means they find - from knives to sticks and from guns to explosives - take to the streets and do not stop before burning every instance of the dictatorial administration.
North Somalis are now at the same wave length with those of the other parts of Somalia, Ogaden included. Either they will fight now, exterminating every member of the Hargeisa gang or death, desolation, and any form of wretchedness will befall upon them soon.
This is the time to convert the words to acts, the moment to transform the rejection of Riyaale´s regime into the funerals of its members.
If North Somalis burn Hargeisa and incinerate Riyaale and his anti-Somali criminal gangsters now, they will have enough time in the future to rebuild their country on sound bases. If they keep limiting their reaction at the level of words only, the time is close when they will have no words to say because they will be dead.
The Riyaale pestilence must be obliterated now – at all costs.

In two earlier articles entitled "The Dissolution of Somaliland – Part I North Somalis to Convert Rage to Acts Against Tyrant Riyaale" and "The Dissolution of Somaliland–Part II. "Can NSUM and Patriotic Forces Lead the People to Insurgence?" I focused on the rejection of the Riyaale tyranny by the outright majority of the North Somalis, and republishing two devastating criticisms against the present administration of the breakaway pseudo-state. I stressed the need for drastic and violent action to overthrow the tyranny of the Riyaale gang.
Converging information from other parts of Somalia, developments in the piracy "front", the ongoing fratricide battles in the Somali South, the total impotence of Sheikh Sharif, the rise of Yemenite claims and Kenyan interference, the battles at Ogaden, in fact, everything shows that all parts of Somalia have been programmed by the colonial regimes of London and Paris for a forthcoming grave deterioration that will give the coup de grace to the beleaguered nation.
The correct reaction to this nightmarish horizon is the violent overthrow of the illegal Riyaale regime and the rise in Hargeisa of a new, pro-unitary, democratic establishment which will represent Somali values, and not colonially instigated corruption, and will lead the entire Somali Nation to reunification.
I republish herewith three reports and analyses that testify to the current, final crisis of the clinically defunct Somaliland. All that matters now is how fast the North Somalis will turn the disappointment into violent action, and when the streets of Hargeisa will become the theater of the clashes that will mark the deserved end of Riyaale and his mafia.
In a press conference on March 30, 2009, the main opposition party, Kulmiye said they will not recognize any government after the 6th of April when the term extension of the government comes to an end.
The press conference which was held at the party´s head quarters in Hargeisa was attended by the Somaliland media. All the party officials were present during the press conference.
Kulmiye mentioned the following points in their press conference:
1. The Guurti´s decision was unconstitutional and they don´t have the mandate to
set the date of the elections.
2. There is no emergency situation in the country which makes the elections
postponed.
3. The former Parliament decision which called for a consultation among all the
parties if the elections are to be postponed was not respected.
4. The official term of the government ended on 15th of May 2008 and it has been
extended for one more year in order the elections to take place which the
government has failed to do.
5. The spokesman for the party then announced that after series of meetings and
consultations with the party´s members, KULMIYE Party reached the following seven-
point consensus:
6. The party will not recognize any government after the end of the current
governments term on the 6th of April 2009.
7. The party is ready to participate in fair and free elections.
8. The party calls the media outlets which are controlled by the government to be
neutral between all the parties for the campaign.
9. National resources should not be used by the government and it should be free
from any party during the elections.
10.Security forces should not be used against the people and other parties. There
should be neutral among all the parties.
11.The judicial system of the country should also be neutral.
12.The party welcomes any consultation among the parties and welcomes any government
based on consultations.
Local newspaper editor Mohamed Abdi Guled was released on bail on March 20 by a court in Hargeisa, the capital of the northern breakaway territory of Somaliland. The editor of the Hargeisa-based weekly Yool, Guled had to pay bail of 1 million Somaliland shillings (530 euros), Reporters sans Frontières (RSF) has reported.
A court in Hargeisa had sentenced Mohamed Abdi Guled to five months in prison on March 17 on charges of operating an unregistered newspaper and publishing fabricated information. Both RSF and its partner organisation in Somalia, the National Union of Somali Journalists (NUSOJ), condemned the sentence.
Also known as "Urad", Guled was arrested on February 26 and held at the headquarters of the Criminal Investigations Department. Local journalists said at the time they thought the reason for his arrest was a report published two days earlier about alleged plots to murder parliamentarians, opposition party leaders and traditional chiefs.
London, 03 April 2009 (Somaliland Today)-
The upper house of Somaliland´s parliament, which is commonly referred to as Guurti, had passed a highly controversial resolution on Saturday in which it extended president Rayale´s term of office for six months effective from 6 April to 29 October 2009.
No valid constitutional basis was cited for the decision. Even worse, the Guurti brushed aside the official date set by the National Electoral Commission (NEC) for the presidential election, which was adjourned from 31st May to 29 September 2009. Again, no explanation was offered as to why the Guurti superseded the date set by the NEC for presidential election.
It is widely felt that what amounts to a coup d´etat has taken place in the Guurti House.
The resolution, which was passed by 42 votes in favour, 35 against and 1 abstention, took the opposition by complete surprise and left the rest of the nation shell-shocked and dumfounded.
Apart from members of the Guurti, the parliament was jam-packed with Rayale´s supporters including senior police commanders and hordes of uniformed police officers, units of the armed forces, CID officials, the president´s own NSS (National Security Service) officers who are only accountable to him, cabinet ministers and other senior government officials. Selected members of the public were also invited to watch the session, albeit small in number.
The resolution emerged against the backdrop of tense atmosphere and heated debate punctuated by frequent cursing and name-calling, which had led to at least one member of the Guurti who hails from Balligubadleh, being thrown out of the parliament.
The situation was so chaotic that the minister of information, Mr. Ahmed Haji Dahir, at some point, climbed up on the top of a desk, shouting over the top of his voice as part of "the government´s relentless campaign to secure victory by any means necessary". The eldest member of the Guurti, a nonagenarian named Haji Abdikarim Hussein, famously known as "Abdiwaraabe", was directly involved in the lobbying. He could hardly walk without support but nonetheless took the trouble to mill around the House to try to convince the only female member of his clan in the House, Fadumo Jama Ileeye, to vote for the president´s extension of term in office. Ms Ileeye rejected Abdirwarabe´s desperate plea and ultimately voted her conscience.
Intimidation was the name of the game. It was not only limited to threats but also pressure coupled with the strong presence of security forces inside the parliament, all-contributing to unsettle the opposition from the outset.
The chairman of the Upper House, Suleiman Mohamoud Aden, totally lost control of the floor debate and, on two occasions, could not even announce or declare the result that is, whether the motion was carried or lost because of the chaos and confusion that surrounded the House.
Ahmed Mohamoud Silanyo, the chairman of the leading opposition party, Kulmiye, swiftly condemned the decision and described it as a deadly setback to Somaliland´s democratization process.
In a press statement issued by Kulmiye later, Silanyo said his party would not recognize Dahir Rayale as the legitimate president of Somaliland after 6th of April since the resolution passed by the Guurti was illegal and had no constitutional basis whatsoever.
The minister of interior, Abdillahi Irro, and head of the CID, Mohammed Nur, who is a close relative of president Rayale, said, " As from 6th April, the movement of the officials of the opposition political party [meaning KULMIYE] will be greatly restricted".
However, in a statement which is reminiscent of late Barre´s military junta, the deputy minister of justice, Yusuf Isse Duale, known as "Tallaabo" went even further by saying that "any opposition to the Guurti´s decision by KULMIYE officials after 6th of April will be considered as a coup d´etat and, under state of emergency, they will be sentenced to death by firing squad or face long-term imprisonment".
"I warn against those who are contemplating to oppose the Guurti´s decision that such an act will have serious consequences; this means there will be no more political parties and freedom of press in this country will be permanently curtailed". Added Tallaabo chillingly.
Up until now the UCID leader, Faisal Ali Warabe, remains a serial flip flopper. He rejected the Guurti´s decision to postpone the presidential election to 29 September. However, his party´s official stand with regard to the extension of president Rayale´s term of office still remains unclear.
The Guurti´s decision has provoked public outrage and warnings that this might lead to civil disobedience throughout the country.
